The film will hit theatres on July 26

The iconic Marvel pair, Deadpool and Wolverine, have made a thrilling return. The film’s creators released a trailer on Monday, and the nearly three-minute video showcases Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) at their best. The trailer kicks off with their characteristic witty exchange, where Deadpool lands a sharp quip at the notoriously stern X-Men character.

Surpassing previous records, this teaser has become the most-watched movie trailer ever, elevating the stakes with increased audacity and intense action. Accompanied by Madonna’s 1989 classic “Like a Prayer,” the trailer reveals Cassandra Nova, a formidable villain from the X-Men lore and Charles Xavier’s sister. She is depicted using her telepathic powers to overpower Wolverine.

The narrative expands to include time travel, with the Time Variance Authority enlisting a variant of Deadpool for a crucial mission. They’ve also recruited a version of Wolverine from another timeline, donning his signature sleeveless outfit.

Adding to the ensemble, the trailer shows Ant-Man’s substantial physique as a battleground where villains like Lady Deathstrike and Azazel emerge. This film paves the way for Marvel’s upcoming X-Men movie. The trailer concludes with the iconic duo leaping through a portal filled with sparks, teasing potential appearances from Doctor Strange or Wong.
